Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
Herren Project is offering Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to the first 25 individuals who RSVP in recognition of Mobilize Recovery Day of Service.
Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches parents/guardians, caregivers, educators, health and human service workers, and any other adult who plays a significant role in the lives of youth how to identify, understand, and respond to an adolescent (ages 12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
Mental Health First Aid Training is valued at $170 per participant. Herren Project is making this training available to you at no cost in recognition of Mobilize Recovery Day of Service.
This Youth Mental Health First Aid course is a blended format, which means 2.5 hours of self-paced pre-work followed by two Instructor Led Sessions (each 2.5 hours in length) scheduled for September 26 and 27 from 10AM-12:30PM.
Note: Participants must complete the pre-work prior to the Instructor Led Sessions and must attend both sessions on September 26 and 27.
