High School Student Scholarships
Herren Project awards two $500 post-secondary education scholarships to high school seniors each year. This leadership scholarship will be awarded to individuals showing exemplary passion and commitment in preventing the misuse of substances, spreading the message of wellness and/or empowering their peers to take steps towards happier, healthier lives.
Who Can Apply
Open to all high school seniors who plan to further their education at a trade school, community college, or four-year university. All applicants must demonstrate a leadership role in the prevention and awareness of substance use disorder within their school or local community.
How to Apply
Submit an essay showing how you have embodied one or more parts of Herren Project’s mission. Essays should not exceed 550 words. All applications must include a recommendation from a teacher, advisor or adult mentor. Applications must be submitted by 5pm ET on April 26, 2024. They will be reviewed by our scholarship committee and recipients will be notified by May 3, 2024.
