Herren Project Recognized as Recovery Friendly Workplace in Rhode Island

Herren Project is excited to announce that we have been designated as a Recovery Friendly Workplace by the former RI Governor Gina Raimondo. This designation affirms our commitment to staff that we will provide support to our employees in their recovery or if they are struggling with substance use disorder through this initiative.

From our work and personal experiences, we know first-hand about the stigma surrounding addiction, the support needed to work towards long-term recovery, and the connections that we cultivate to live healthy, fulfilling lives free from the effects of substances.  We know the challenges, struggles, and triumphs of individuals and families affected by substance use disorder, and we are there to provide support & resources.  At Herren Project, we are proud to declare our support for our employees, just as we provide support for many others across the country.

Herren Project maintains a strong commitment to creating a healthy, safe, and stigma-free work environment, including encouraging staff to access needed services and support. We are proud to continue to provide resources and continue our efforts to strengthen our workplace culture.

Herren Project is a leader in providing free resources and support to individuals and families across the country from all walks of life. We value diversity, inclusion, and equality for all and are proud to walk with each individual on their journey to recovery from addiction.
