Danielle Sharp

From: Boca Raton, FL but a CO native at heart.

What do you do for a living?
Former Director of Admissions and current Director of Revenue Management for a Herren Project treatment partner.

How did you first connect with Herren Project?
I was the first line of contact for all Herren Project scholarship recipients. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to assist Herren Project in giving people second chances to live life again, to rebuild their families and to stand in their own light.

What is your interest in/connection to recovery?
The insidious disease of alcoholism and addiction engulfed my life at a very young age. I walked the dark path that led to jails, institutions and numerous near-death experiences. By the grace of God, I was given a second chance and have never looked back.

Who is someone who inspires you?My fiancé Kris, his unwavering compassion and patience for others inspires me.

What is your favorite pastime or hobby? I enjoy travelling, the outdoors, fitness and Netflix.

What are you most proud of? My sobriety is my greatest accomplishment and 2nd to that is being a mother to my beautiful daughter Celeste.

What does serving as a Herren Project Ambassador mean to you? Everything that Herren Project stands for aligns with all my core values. Being an ambassador allows me to be a part of a much bigger story of hope, love and community. It means I get to pay it forward and light the way for those still wandering in the dark.
