I live in Oceanside, NY. I work as a Cell Genetic Technologist at Northwell Health. My husband, Pete, and I began running for Herren Project in 2015 and have since become ambassadors for the charity. We have loved being a part of this family and love help breaking the stigma of the disease of addiction. I truly believe in an amazing life for people in long term recovery like Pete. I also strongly believe I’m supporting the family of those affected by the disease also. Working with Herren Project has given me a voice to advocate for this. This will be my first Boston marathon and my 13th marathon overall. I plan on completing all 6 World Marathon Majors someday and Boston will be star #2.
