Shreya Lal

My name is Shreya Lal, and I am a junior at Mills E. Godwin High School in Virginia. I have been involved with the Herren Project since my freshman year and helped start my school’s chapter of the non-profit. I became involved with the Herren Project to empower individuals within the student body at my school to make positive decisions about prioritizing their health and well-being, providing a platform for the school to feel supported in overcoming challenges related to substance use. Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis and hanging out with friends! I am so excited to continue to be a part of the Herren Project and hope to continue to work towards preventing substance abuse while supporting others in my community!
