Empowering Young People and Communities to Make a Positive Difference
Herren Project is pleased to be able to offer scholarships and school grants to high school students and high schools nationwide. Individuals and communities that apply should be sharing the message of substance use prevention and wellness as well as committed to making a difference.
Student Scholarships
Herren Project awards two $500 college scholarships to high school seniors each year. This leadership scholarship will be awarded to individuals showing exemplary passion and commitment in preventing the misuse of substances, spreading the message of wellness and/or empowering their peers to take steps towards happier, healthier lives.

Spirit of Purple Award
The Annual Spirit of Purple Award is given to one high school senior that has been a “game changer” in their school or local community! Herren Project Club school advisors, coaches, teachers and principals can nominate someone who they believe has been a role model for their peers, made healthy choices and has incorporated the Herren Project “BE YOU” message in their daily lives! The winner will receive a $250 scholarship.

After-Prom & Graduation Grant
Herren Project is proud to support schools and communities grants for safe, substance-free events to celebrate prom and graduation. These high school grants range from $500-$1,000. They help cover costs of after-prom and after-graduation parties that encourage healthy choices and inspire substance-free fun.

Herren Project Clubs Grant
Herren Project Clubs create a peer network in schools to empower youth to make healthy choices. They encourage overall wellness, development of coping skills, and leadership in schools and communities. Club grants of $250 will be awarded to 10 schools to help cover running a Herren Project Club. The funds can be used for t-shirts, hosting an event, supplies, or anything that will help your club run more effectively.
