Game Changers of the Month
This past Sunday, 65 Herren Project teammates joined more than 11,000 runners at the 2025 Falmouth Road Race, running the seven miles from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights.
While every runner had a personal reason for being there—whether running in honor of a loved one, celebrating recovery, or simply wanting to make a difference—they all shared one powerful goal: to run for hope, healing, and community. That spirit carried them forward step after step, mile after mile.
This year’s team brought fresh energy and excitement. In fact, 62% of our runners joined us for the very first time. Their enthusiasm, combined with the passion of our returning veterans, made this year’s group one of our most inspiring yet. Together, they pushed past physical limits and reminded us all of what’s possible when people come together for a cause bigger than themselves.
Collectively, our 2025 Falmouth Road Race team has already raised an incredible $90,317—and counting! This funding supports Herren Project’s programs and initiatives, ensuring more individuals and families can access the resources, support, and hope they need on the journey of recovery.
But beyond the numbers, what stood out most was the sense of community. From cheering crowds along the route, to teammates encouraging one another, to supporters following along from near and far—it was a true reminder that no one walks this journey alone.
To our runners: thank you for your courage, strength, and commitment. To our donors and supporters: thank you for believing in this mission and helping make recovery possible. Together, you are the game changers, and together we are moving closer to a world where recovery is celebrated and lives are transformed.
