It’s said that our habits and practices are a combination of the 5 people we spend the most time with. Therefore, our community, the people we spend the most time with, has a significant influence on our personal wellness. Spend time with positive people who exhibit healthy behaviors and lift each other up and your life should become more positive, happier and healthier.
During Wellness Week with Herren, we are encouraging you to find your community. It can be a simple get together with friends, a phone call with a close friend or relative, a yoga class or a dinner with like-minded people. Anything that involves time with those you feel connected to.
Join Herren Project for Recovery Rocks!
Herren Project Ambassadors Julie & Andy Rogers are hosting a run/walk meet up in the state of Washington at Evergreen Park as part of their initiative, Recovery Rocks. They started this in 2019 to promote a positive, healthy lifestyle with a focus on recovery, connection, community and awareness.
The goal is to have meet ups across the country where people can come together in their community and virtually run or walk together at the same time, for the same cause, celebrating recovery and living well. They’re encouraging people all across the country to participate with them in WA or to have a meet up of their own!
Details of the Saturday, March 7th Washington meetup can be found on their Facebook event page and any other Recovery Rocks locations that are scheduled will be posted in the Facebook group, Recovery Rocks Wellness Week with Herren or Wellness Week with Herren.
