Our Herren Project community lost our Ambassador Bud on October 13, 2024. Bud was a dedicated Herren Project Ambassador whose passion and commitment touched countless lives. Through his advocacy and unwavering belief in hope, Bud embodied the spirit of connection and resilience that defines our mission.
While his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy will continue to inspire us all, and why we will honor Bud as a Legacy Ambassador. Bud will remain a cherished part of the Herren Project family, forever reminding us of the power of community, compassion, and recovery.

What do you do for a living? I am a professional driver and avid guitarist.
How did you first connect with Herren Project? I had a stepson who struggled and lost his battle with addiction.
What is your interest in/connection to recovery? I’m a recovering alcoholic and have been sober for 34 years as of of January 24, 2024.
Who is someone who inspires you? The list is very long! I have been inspired most by those who continue to turn negative situations into positive outcomes, in other words, Team Herren Project are my people!
What’s your favorite pastime or hobby? Playing the guitar and anything involving music.
What are you most proud of? My sons!
