Where do you call home? Philadelphia, PA

What do you do for a living? I work in security for Lockheed Martin and I’m in the Air Force Reserves.

How did you first connect with Herren Project? Back in 2015, my brother asked me to watch Chris Herren’s 30 for 30. I was so intrigued by his story I started to google more on him and stumbled upon Herren Project and I knew right away I wanted to help in some way. I ran my first 5k with Herren Project in Boston in 2015 and have been running, fundraising and raising awareness ever since.

What is your interest in/connection to recovery?
My younger brother has been battling addiction for a number of years. He’s been in and out of countless rehabs. There are times when he’s asked for help and other times he just feels like giving up. I want to help others get started with recovery and also help families and loved ones to cope with their loved ones suffering from addiction.

Who is someone who inspires you? My mom; she’s one of the toughest people I know.

What’s your favorite pastime or hobby? Playing the piano.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of joining the Air Force later in life and being able to serve my country.

What does serving as a Herren Project Ambassador mean to you? Serving as a Herren Project Ambassador means even if I can help just one person get to recovery that would mean the world to me.
