Jill Lifrak
Jill Lifrak is a Registered Nurse, mom, and homemaker Rehoboth Massachusetts. She chose to run for Herren Project to help end the stigma associated with mental health and addiction – to make it more transparent so people can get the help that they need.
“I lost my beautiful nephew Michael to an overdose on 2/11/2020. It is such a painful thing that I never want any other family to experience. Mike was hard working, kind, and had a contagious giggle. Boy does my family miss him every day, and I know he’s with us all of the time.”
Jill loves to cook and experiment. She said, “The problem is I don’t like to follow recipes, so it’s tough to repeat a meal. It is a joke in my house when they really love something I make that they’ll never get it again!”
She also loves walking and hiking with her 2 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, and skiing. Jill is most proud of her family. She and her husband Joe have been happily married for 23 years, and counting, with 3 boys— Joe 22, Jake, 20, Jackson 18. “They are just so much fun to be with. They make me laugh and smile like I never have before. To me family is everything.”
