Josh Desai
Josh Desai hails from Shrewsbury MA, but currently lives in Boxboro where he works in Real Estate & Cyber Security.
He chooses to run his Boston with Herren Project due to the fact that Chris Herren has long been a role model for him. He played college baseball and when he saw Chris’s story on “Unguarded,” it really influenced him.
“I lost family and friends to substance abuse/addiction. It shows there is hope for everyone out there…people just need help. People don’t realize that addiction is a disease. Bringing awareness to this is why I run for Herren Project.”
Josh plays men’s league baseball in the CNENA for the Lunenburg Phillies. He also enjoys traveling and is planning a trip to Mexico with his my wife for after the marathon.
Josh is most proud of his family. He and his wife and I have 2 children, Luka and Bria. They lovingly call them their “Irish Twin Covid Babies” as they are 1 year-old twins.
