Laurie Spaner joined Herren Project in 2015, first as the office manager and was recently promoted to Director of Operations in 2021. Laurie has been instrumental in the organizational capacity building of the finance and human resources areas. Prior to joining Herren Project, Laurie had a 20-year career in molecular immunology research. After leaving her science career to raise her children, Laurie joined Herren Project to put her previous nonprofit and data experience to work to help families heal and empower kids to make healthy decisions.
