On December 12th, 2020, The Prudential Center will be lit PURPLE to shine a light on the disease of addiction.
The Prudential Center recognizes 31 local nonprofit organizations each night during the month of December in an effort to raise awareness during the holiday season. Herren Project is honored to have been chosen for a second year in a row as one of those organizations. Traditionally, this event includes speakers, festivities and “flipping a switch” to light the top of the building. However, due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year’s event will be a virtual celebration.
In addition to the Prudential Center, Mayor Marty Walsh and the City of Boston will participate by lighting City Hall and four Mass DOT Bridges – Zakim, Longfellow, Fore River & Burns will shine purple to show support for Herren Project’s fight against the disease of addiction. We invite you to join us in spirit to commemorate this amazing night of hope.
