Alyse Mueller
My name is Alyse Mueller, and I am proud to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Herren Project. This cause is deeply personal to me. I lost my dad to addiction during my junior year of college, an experience that changed my life and continues to shape who I am today. Running this marathon is a way for me to honor his memory, support a cause that is close to my heart, and help raise awareness for individuals and families affected by addiction. As a first-time marathon runner, this journey has challenged me both physically and mentally, but every mile serves as a reminder of why I started. I am grateful for the opportunity to run on behalf of the Herren Project and contribute to the important work they do to support recovery, prevention, and hope for those who need it most.
