What I do for a living: I work for the Insulet Corporation, the makers of the Omnipod insulin pump, as a Diabetes Nurse Educator.
Why I choose to run New York with Herren Project:
I first learned of the Herren project through one of my best running friends. After visiting the website and reading so many stories, I knew this was a group I wanted to support. I know the need is real and there are many that need help. Raising awareness and funds for the Herren Project will allow more people the opportunity to find recovery from addiction
What I do for fun (besides running and helping others!):
When not running, I enjoy doing anything outside..boating, skiing, or just sitting in the sun with my dogs and a good book. I also love watching college football!
What I’m most proud of:
I’m most proud of my two daughters. They are both in college, student athletes, and kicking butt academically. However, what I like best is they are both kind-hearted. I’m also proud of my husband and his support of my running adventures.
