Aubrey Penn
Aubrey Penn is from Jackson, MI and is a pediatric occupational therapist.
She has been a runner for as long as she can remember. Back in elementary school she ran everyday at recess for mileage club. She started competing for her school in 8th grade and that competitive drive never stopped. In high school, her and her team won the state championship and she went on to run for two years in college as well.
Since then, she has enjoyed running longer distances. She earned a qualifying time for Boston 2023 at her first marathon in September 2022. Outside of running, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends, and golden retriever puppy. She has decided to join the Boston Herren Project Team in response to seeing several individuals in her community battling addiction and substance abuse. She hopes to be a part of the difference made by Herren Project and is honored to be a member of such an amazing organization.
