My Why
I’m running for the Herren Project to raise awareness about addiction and the resources that are out there for help. I once knew this beautiful young girl, always smiling and full of life. Little did I know what was really going on in her life until I received the news that she had died of an overdose. It made me realize that addiction is not always visible and oftentimes fought in the dark. It is important to know that help is available, not only for people battling addiction but also for their friends and families.
