My Why
I chose to run the Boston Marathon for Herren Project in honor of my father, who passed away in April due to addiction. This run isn’t just about completing a race; it’s about honoring his memory and shedding light on a struggle that impacts many families, including mine.
Addiction is a deeply isolating disease, but through my work with Herren Project, I’ve seen firsthand how compassion, community, and support can make a difference. By running, I hope to raise awareness about addiction and raise funds for Herren Project so that more people have access to the help they need. Every step I take will be in his memory, with the goal of helping others break free from the grips of addiction.
