Desirae Churchill
Desirae Churchill-Ruiz currently lives in New Jersey, with her husband and her two fur babies. She took this year away from work to focus on her first year of recovery, which she just celebrated on the 13th of October. Desirae is extremely grateful to be a part of the 2022 NYC marathon. The city is a second home to her, it is where she has trained in commercial dance for the past 6 years and has grown roots. Being a part of this team is a huge accomplishment, bringing together an organization that is close to her heart, with a place that feels like home and a beautiful way to celebrate a year of clean time and sobriety. Desirae looks forward to continuing her journey, both in running and in recovery.
