Erin McClam
My name is Erin and I live in Cambridge, MA and I am a writer and editor for a nonprofit.
I’m running with Herren Project because recovery saved my life and I want to give back. Everyone struggling with addiction deserves treatment, stable housing, and family support. I had those advantages. Many people don’t. And Herren works to close that gap. I love that this organization believes in community, connection, and the simple truth that we’re stronger together in the fight.
If I’m not working or running, I’m reading, spending time with my husband, cooking for friends, or obsessing about the Georgia Bulldogs. (Or, if we’re being honest here, in the middle of yet another rewatch of “The West Wing.”)
I’m most proud of the life I’ve built, with so much help, in recovery. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
