John Deffley
I chose to run for Herren Project because I met Chris Herren on the Cape after losing my brother to an overdose while I was getting sober. His story resonated with me and really helped me during those times. I was fortunate enough to run the Boston Marathon in 2021 with Team Herren Project, and feel just as fortunate to be running the New York City Marathon with them.
