My Why
I’ve been drawn to the Herren Project ever since I heard Chris Herren speak when I was a high school student and again last year as a now high school teacher. Through his words and my own personal interactions and experiences, I’ve come to realize the complexities of addiction and the unfair accompanying stigmas. I am running with Herren Project to help raise awareness, shift the narrative surrounding addiction, build community support, enhance access to crucial recovery services, and celebrate healing!
