I am honored to run the 2026 New York City Marathon with Herren Project. As someone in long-term recovery, this cause is deeply personal to me. Running and staying active have become an important part of my recovery and have helped shape the life I live today.
New York will be my fifth marathon. I have run the Boston Marathon three times, raising awareness and funds for mental health, suicide prevention, and families impacted by substance use. Running for causes that matter has become an important part of my marathon journey.
I am running for those still suffering, those we have lost, those in recovery, and the families affected by addiction. Every mile is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support the life-changing work of Herren Project.
