My Why
I will be running my 1st Boston Marathon and third marathon overall. I have been sober for 8 years and continue to stay involved in the RI and MA recovery communities. I am a former 2-time All-American athlete in sailing for Roger Williams University but have only started running distance races in the last few years. My wife, Theresa, has run 18 half marathons and eight marathons, and I am hoping to catch up at some point! I have a 4-year-old daughter, Molly, who loves tennis, soccer, and gymnastics.
