My name is Mike, and I am real estate investor and live in Warwick, RI.
I chose to run with Herren Project because, for me, there is not a better non-profit organization out there. After losing my brother-in-law to an overdose in 2013, we were lucky enough to find Herren Project. Since our involvement, we have made fabulous connections and friends. When choosing a charity to run the iconic Boston Marathon with, I felt it was a no-brainer to run with Team Herren Project. The money raised will be used in the best possible way – to save lives.
For fun, I love boating, traveling, jet skiing and watching sports.
I am most proud to have completed five marathons; 3 New York City Marathons (1 was virtually due to Covid), the Chicago Marathon and, most recently, the Berlin Marathon. I may not be the fastest runner, but I get it done while enjoying every moment of 26.2 miles of torture. I’m just out here chasing that six-star medal and trying to help others while I do it.
