I am so excited to be running New York, as this is my first marathon ever! I had the opportunity to meet and hear Chris speak at my high school in Oregon nearly 10 years ago, and have since found myself in my own recovery journey. I will be celebrating 1 year of sobriety the weekend after the marathon. I am super grateful for the opportunity to run alongside my mom, who is in long-term recovery herself!
