Nancy Eaton
What I do for a living: I am an RN working in Labor & Delivery at a major medical center in Boston, MA. I love delivering babies and helping families during this time of great joy.
Why I choose to run New York with Herren Project:
My youngest daughter Jacqueline has a substance use disorder. She has been in and out of recovery since she was 19. She is now 24 years old and has relapsed after spending 5 months at Herren Wellness. Our family has found tremendous support in the Herren Project family support groups over the past year and I love to connect with other families who are watching a loved one struggle with this disease.
What I do for fun (besides running and helping others!):
I love country music and going to live concerts. My favorite artist is Dierks Bentley who I have seen over 75 times over the past 5 years. I also love to travel and hike which I will frequently try to combine with my concert trips.
What I’m most proud of:
Raising 6 amazing children as a single mom, and running my first marathon 7 years ago.
