My Why
I'm running the Boston Marathon on behalf of the Herren Project in memory of my mom, who passed away in August of 2021 after a long battle with addiction. Over the past few years, I've been searching for a meaningful way to honor her and to give back to families who are going through the same challenges my family and I faced.
That moment finally came when I attended the Boston Marathon in April of 2024 and came across Herren Project. Their mission of supporting individuals and families affected by addiction immediately resonated with me, and I knew this was how I wanted to honor my mom's memory.
Being able to support others in her name truly means a great deal to me. Herren Project offers hope, resources, and real support to individuals and families facing addiction, and I'm grateful for the chance to help them continue their important work.
