My Why
I’m running the Boston Marathon as my second marathon with Herren Project because substance use disorder affects everyone—families, friends, coworkers, and entire communities—and no one should have to face it alone. I believe in having a purpose, and I believe deeply in using my strength and privilege to help others, especially when support can change the course of someone’s life. Running pushes me beyond my limits, but that’s where growth happens—and where purpose lives. I care fiercely, I show up, and I run for those who may not yet be able to.
