Walter (Wally) Senney
I am 68 years old and from Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. I spend the winter months shuttling between Cleveland and my winter home in Key West, Florida. My wife and I, Joyce, have three adult children, who have run at least one marathon with him, and eight grandchildren. My son Trey completed the Cozumel Ironman in 2010 with me, but if the truth be told, Trey finished 2 hours ahead of me. Boston will be my 39th marathon and 4th World Major. After Boston, only Chicago and Tokyo will be left to conquer on the World Major circuit.
In my business career, I have built a group of corporate industrial companies that provide equipment and services to the filtration, water, and wastewater field and for air quality monitoring.
I am honored to be representing Herren Project in his quest to complete the World Majors because of the good work they do in the field of substance use and recovery, as I have seen the negative consequences of alcohol and drug use by employees and family members.
