In 2025, that belief came to life through the generosity of thousands of people who chose to stand with individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder. As we kick off 2026, we are honored to celebrate our donors from 2025, a community united by compassion, connection, and a shared purpose to make a difference.
This past year, 5,319 donors showed up for recovery and prevention. Together, you helped ensure that no one has to walk this journey alone.

What Your Donations Fund
Your generosity helps make it possible for Herren Project to:
- Increase access to recovery supports, including recovery housing and coaching scholarships, and resource navigation that removes barriers and helps people find the quality support they deserve.
- Strengthen prevention efforts through education, training, and community-based programming like Herren Project Clubs, substance-free grants, and Mental Health First Aid.
- Support families and loved ones with tools, connection, and guidance through 25 online support groups and 15-minute phone consultations.
- Expand the recovery community and connections so people have support beyond a single moment or milestone on our WAVEMAKER and alumni community pages.
- Respond to emerging needs, ensuring programs can grow and adapt as communities face new challenges in the continuing addiction and mental health crisis in our country.
