Herren Project is proud to put the spotlight on Hilton Head Prep this month! Hilton Head Preparatory School is a co-educational day and boarding school that enrolls approximately 430 students in Junior Kindergarten (age 3) through 12th grade. Hilton Head Prep is the Lowcountry’s preeminent, accredited independent school whose mission is to teach students in a safe and caring environment and mold them into strong characters. The school maintains a challenging curriculum with an outstanding faculty in a supportive community. Hilton Head Preps mission states,

Led by advisor Abby Frey, Hilton Head Prep started their club at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. Abby shared that to gain interest and build membership, she and some of the youth in the school community set up a table during their club fair. We agree this is a wonderful way to get the word out when starting a club! Abby shared her thoughts about the experience and their decision to start a Herren Project Club:

This fall, our Upper School student leaders and advisors are thrilled to introduce our Herren Project Club on campus. Our students are eager to engage in meaningful discussions on substance abuse and to embrace a proactive approach to their well-being.”- Abby Frey
Herren Project Clubs is a school-based, evidence-informed prevention and wellness program designed by prevention specialists, clinicians, and school counselors to empower students to live substance-free while creating a peer network in schools. Its goal is to provide tools to strengthen social-emotional learning and coping skills to make healthy choices and live fulfilling lives.
