Friends and family of Kellen Leach are raising funds and awareness to help others by running and golfing this month, with all proceeds going to support the work of Herren Project. A team of four will honor Kellen’s memory and celebrate him as they run the Falmouth Road Race with Team Herren Project, and many others will participate and support during a golf outing in Portsmouth.
Kellen spent the last years of his life living in Rhode Island and staying closely connected with the Herren community. Thanks to Herren Wellness, Herren Project, and all who loved him, Kellen’s light will continue to shine.
Kellen’s mother, Marie Leach, says, “We are honored to keep Kellen’s spirit alive and continue his mission of helping others in recovery by supporting a cause that was so important to him. Our goal is to help others in their recovery effort with the hope that they will achieve the life in recovery that Kellen so badly wanted.”
Since losing Kellen in 2022, his family and friends have raised more than $23,000 to honor Kellen’s memory and help other individuals and families.
