Jennifer DeVore’s Inspiring Half Marathon

At Herren Project, we believe in the power of individuals coming together to inspire change, raise awareness, and support recovery. Team Herren Project member Jennifer DeVore recently embodied this spirit by participating in a half marathon as part of our Own Your Own Race initiative.
Jennifer’s reason for running is deeply personal. She has seen the incredible strength of friends and family members who have fought their way back to sobriety. For Jennifer, supporting Herren Project means ensuring that everyone battling addiction has access to the resources they need to find hope and healing.
“I feel that everyone should have the opportunity to have all the resources at their fingertips,” Jennifer shared. “This is why I’m running in support of Herren Project.”

Jennifer’s journey is part of a larger movement through our Own Your Own Race initiative, which empowers individuals to make a difference by participating in athletic challenges on their own terms. Whether it’s running, walking, biking, or swimming, this initiative is about turning personal goals into opportunities to support recovery. Participants choose their race, set their own pace, and rally their communities to support Herren Project’s mission of prevention, recovery, and wellness.
