Thanks to the generosity of the Thomas and Tracey Gravina Foundation Herren Project was able to introduce a grant opportunity for The First Day film allowing us to award 10 schools and 6 communities the film and materials at no cost.
Due to the overwhelming number of applications received and the demonstrated need for the film and materials, another family felt a strong call to action to make sure that every school and community who had applied were not turned away.
Thanks to the generosity of the Chace family, we are excited to announce that every school and community who applied this grant cycle will be a recipient of a The First Day film grant.
Herren Project is grateful for the Gravina family and Chace family for their leadership and support in making a true impact for schools and communities across the US. Because of their generosity, 59 schools and 9 communities in 24 states across the country will be impacted with the message of The First Day through the film, supporting materials and our Herren Project Clubs toolkit. Together, we are starting a conversation that we know will make positive strides in the prevention of addiction.
