Finding yourself in a relationship with someone struggling with addiction can create significant emotional strain and, in some cases, unhealthy or unsafe dynamics. As trust erodes, many partners feel isolated while navigating the impact of addiction on their relationship. This often leads to patterns of enabling rather than supporting recovery.

Herren Project’s Spousal & Partner Support Group is open to anyone in a committed relationship—married or not—with someone who has an addiction to drugs or alcohol. The group helps participants shift from enabling behaviors to healthier, supportive approaches that encourage recovery.

Meetings offer a safe, peer-to-peer environment with an educational component. Topics often include codependency, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, and prioritizing self-care. All groups are facilitated by licensed clinicians or counselors with expertise in substance use and relationship dynamics.

All groups meet in Eastern Time.
